What it does

What GoHighLevel invoices & payments can do

Invoices and recurring invoices

Send branded one-time or recurring invoices by email or text, with taxes, discounts, due dates, and automatic reminders.

Estimates

Create estimates from templates, track them as Draft, Sent, Accepted, Declined, or Invoiced, and convert an accepted estimate into an invoice.

Text-to-pay

Send a pay-ready link from an SMS thread in Conversations. HighLevel requires a Stripe connection, an active phone number, and at least one product for this.

Payment links, order forms, and subscriptions

Sell products and services through payment links, order forms, calendars, and checkout pages, including recurring subscription billing where the processor supports it.

Multiple payment processors

HighLevel supports Stripe, Square, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, and Razorpay, though not every method works in every product area.

Card, wallet, and ACH options

Through Stripe, invoices and text-to-pay links can accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH direct debit in addition to cards.

Workflow actions

Workflows can send an estimate or invoice automatically when a deal reaches a stage, and trigger follow-up when a payment succeeds or fails.

How we set it up

Configured right, and measured from day one

Processor chosen for your situation

We check which processor supports the payment areas you need (invoices, subscriptions, order forms, calendars) before connecting it, so you do not hit a gap later.

Products and price list

We build your products and services once, with tax settings, so estimates, invoices, and text-to-pay links pull the same prices every time.

Estimate-to-invoice pipeline

Estimates link to opportunities, reminders go out on unsigned estimates, and accepted estimates move the deal forward automatically.

Payment reminders and receipts

Branded email and SMS notifications, polite overdue reminders, and thank-you messages that can ask for a review after payment.

Revenue by lead source

We connect payments to contacts and opportunities so reporting shows revenue by source, campaign, and service. This is the number most owners have never had.

Why payments belong next to your CRM

When invoicing lives in a separate accounting tool, marketing reports stop at the lead. You can see that a campaign produced a stack of form fills, but not whether any of them paid you.

Putting estimates, invoices, and payments in GoHighLevel closes that loop. Every payment is attached to a contact with a known lead source, so a dashboard can show cost per lead and revenue per campaign side by side.

What GoHighLevel payments do not replace

GoHighLevel is not an accounting system. It does not handle your books, payroll, or tax filings. Most businesses keep QuickBooks or their accountant's tool of choice for bookkeeping and use GoHighLevel for sending estimates, collecting payments, and tracking revenue against marketing. We can help you decide where each job belongs and avoid double entry.

FAQ

GoHighLevel invoices & payments: FAQ

Which payment processors work with GoHighLevel?

HighLevel's help center lists Stripe, Square, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, and Razorpay as supported processors, plus some third-party integrations. Not every processor or payment method works in every area, and some methods only support one-time payments, so check HighLevel's provider-by-product table before choosing. Apple Pay and Google Pay run through Stripe.

How does text-to-pay work in GoHighLevel?

From a contact's SMS conversation, you click the request-payment button, choose a product, adjust price, discount, or tax, set a due date, and send a payment link by text. The customer pays on their phone. HighLevel requires an active Stripe connection, a phone number in the sub-account, and at least one product.

Can GoHighLevel send estimates?

Yes. GoHighLevel has an Estimates feature with templates, branding, expiry dates, and status tracking from Draft through Accepted and Invoiced. Once a customer accepts, you can convert the estimate into an invoice. Workflows can also send estimates automatically when an opportunity reaches a certain stage.

Can GoHighLevel replace QuickBooks?

Not for accounting. GoHighLevel handles estimates, invoices, payment collection, and revenue reporting tied to leads, but it is not a bookkeeping or tax system. Most small businesses keep QuickBooks or similar for the books and use GoHighLevel to collect payments and connect revenue to marketing results.

Does GoHighLevel support recurring billing?

Yes. GoHighLevel supports recurring invoices and subscription products through order forms, payment links, and other checkout areas, depending on the processor. Some payment methods only support one-time payments, so we confirm your processor handles subscriptions for the areas you plan to use before building maintenance plans or memberships.
