Website Design
Small business website design built to bring in leads, not just look good
A website has one job for most local businesses: turn visitors into calls, form fills, and booked appointments. We build sites that do that job and prove it. Every site is connected to GoHighLevel so leads land in your CRM and get followed up, tracked in Google Analytics 4 so you can see what is working, and built on SEO basics that give you a fair shot at being found.

Websites built to bring in leads
Plenty of small businesses have a nice-looking website that quietly does nothing. The contact form emails an old address. Nobody knows which calls came from the site. There is no follow-up when someone fills out a form at 9 p.m. The design was the whole project.
Cheap template shops and one-off freelancers often deliver exactly that: a pretty site with no tracking, forms nobody tested, and no connection to how you actually follow up with customers. It looks finished, but you have no idea if it is working.
We come at websites from the data side. George Chapin spent more than 20 years in CRM, marketing automation, and analytics, including building attribution frameworks and executive dashboards. So we start with the questions an owner cares about: how many leads did the site bring in, where did they come from, and did anyone follow up? Then we build the site to answer them.
GoHighLevel site or custom site: which is right?
Both options are real websites connected to your CRM. The difference is what you are optimizing for.
- GoHighLevel website ($1,500): lives inside your GoHighLevel account, so hosting is included in your plan and you can edit text and photos yourself. Forms, chat, and booking are native. The trade-off: the site builder is less flexible, pages are usually heavier, and advanced SEO work like detailed schema and large sets of city pages is harder to do well. If you ever leave GoHighLevel, the site would need to be rebuilt.
- Custom high-performance website ($3,500): hand-built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel, the same way rapidwebsystems.com is built (70+ pages with structured data). It is faster, scales to many service and city pages, and has a higher SEO ceiling. The trade-off: it costs more up front, and content changes usually go through us or the care plan rather than a drag-and-drop editor.
- Our honest rule of thumb: if you need a simple, credible site and want to edit it yourself, go with GoHighLevel. If organic search is a major lead source, or you serve many cities or services, the custom site usually earns its extra cost.
What every site includes
Whichever build you choose, these pieces are standard. We do not treat tracking or SEO as upsells, because a site without them cannot be measured or found.
- Tracking: GA4 with conversion events for forms, calls, chats, and bookings, plus UTM-ready links so campaigns report cleanly. See /services/analytics-reporting for full dashboards.
- SEO basics: unique titles and descriptions, sensible URLs, heading structure, schema for your business and services, and an XML sitemap. For ongoing work, see /services/local-seo and /services/ai-search-optimization.
- Speed: optimized images, minimal scripts, and mobile-first layouts.
- Accessibility basics: contrast, alt text, keyboard-friendly forms, and logical headings.
- GoHighLevel connections: forms, chat widget, online booking, and call tracking numbers flowing into your contacts and pipeline. Learn more about the platform side at /features/websites-funnels.
Our process
- Discovery: your services, service area, best customers, and what a good lead looks like.
- Sitemap and copy: we plan the pages and draft the content with you, based on how customers search.
- Design: a clean layout that fits your brand and puts calls to action where people look for them.
- Build: the site itself, plus GoHighLevel forms, chat, booking, and call tracking.
- Test: every form, booking link, phone number, and GA4 conversion checked end to end.
- Launch: domain connected, redirects set from any old site, and Google Search Console verified.
- Launch support: we stay close after go-live to fix issues and confirm leads and tracking are flowing.
What it costs to own a website
Our build fee is one-time: from $1,500 for a GoHighLevel site or $3,500 for a custom site. After that, there are a few ongoing costs worth knowing up front.
A GoHighLevel site is hosted by your GoHighLevel subscription, which starts at $97 per month for the Starter plan (per gohighlevel.com/pricing), and that same subscription runs your CRM, texting, and email. A custom site needs hosting, which our $97 per month Website Care Plan covers along with updates, monitoring, and small edits. Either way you pay a small yearly fee for your domain name, in your own name.

FAQ
Website Design: common questions
How much does a small business website cost?
Our websites start at $1,500 one-time for a 5–8 page GoHighLevel site and $3,500 for a custom high-performance site built with Next.js. Both include GoHighLevel connections, GA4 conversion tracking, and SEO basics. Ongoing costs are your GoHighLevel plan or our $97 per month care plan for custom-site hosting, plus your domain. Larger or complex sites are quoted after a free consult.
How long does it take to build a website?
A GoHighLevel website typically takes 2–4 weeks, and a custom high-performance site typically takes 4–8 weeks. The biggest variable is content: how quickly we get your input on services, photos, and page copy. We give you a timeline after discovery and keep you updated along the way, including testing time for forms and tracking before launch.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and your GoHighLevel account is yours. A GoHighLevel site lives in that account, so it stays with you, though it would need rebuilding if you ever leave GoHighLevel. For custom sites, you own the site and its content, and we can hand over the code if you move to another developer.
Can I edit my website myself?
With a GoHighLevel website, yes. The site builder lets you change text, photos, and hours without touching code, and we show you how at launch. Custom sites are built in code for speed and SEO, so most owners send edits to us instead. The Website Care Plan includes small edits each month, and bigger changes are quoted separately.
Do you write the content for my website?
Yes, we draft the page copy with you. We interview you about your services, service area, and customers, then write pages built around how people search and what they ask before calling. You review and approve everything, and your real expertise and details make the final copy stronger. You can also supply your own copy if you prefer.
Will my new website rank on Google?
No one can honestly guarantee rankings, and we will not. What we can do is build the site so nothing holds it back: fast pages, clean structure, schema, and well-written service and city pages. Rankings also depend on your Google Business Profile, reviews, and competition. For ongoing work, see our local SEO and AI search optimization plans.
